Approximately 250 lots will be situated on the high bluffs of Laurel Island, affording fortunate owners panoramic views of the Crooked River estuary.
Two villages are planned to contain a further 300 to 400 cottage sites. Laurel Village will rest upon a high bluff on the northeast side of Laurel Island. It will comprise the town chapel, a coffee shop, dining, and other retail establishments. The marina and yacht club are planned for the northern tip of the island. Perched upon the canal at Laurel Island’s western edge will be Oxley Village, which is planned to include a boat harbor, coffee shop and other retail space. The collection of community docks and several marinas around the island are planned to provide island’s boating community with access to boat slips and dry dock storage. Over four miles of nature trails, including a 3.5 mile tabby pathway around the circumference of the island, will be available for walking and biking enthusiasts.
